Date for Linking PAN with Aadhaar Card Extended

In a major relief to many, the date for linking PAN card to Aadhaar Card has been deferred to next year March 31 2019.

While the department has been encouraging people to link the two cards, in light of Supreme Court judgment that has stayed implementation of Aadhaar in many areas till the constitution bench comes up with its ruling.

This incidentally is the fifth time this date has been extended.
