PM Modi’s UMANG app offers more than 100 govt services

Recently stepping towards his motive, he launched an e-governance app named UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance), that unifies and provides over 100 services of both central as well as state government. This app is launched with the notion to bring government closer to the public’s concerns.

Currently the app offers services such as payment of bills, Aadhaar-related queries, filing income tax, among other things. UMANG can also be used by the users to link their Aadhaar card number and other social media accounts or government services with the app.

Note: That it is mandatory for the users to link their aadhaar number with UMANG if they want to use the app.
