Now You Can't Submit IT Returns without an
Aadhaar Card
In a recent hearing, High Court has officially announced that
the user won’t be able to file for their IT Returns without a valid Aadhaar
Card.
Earlier government extended the deadline for linking the two
documents together in June, to 31st December 2017. However, now the
government is asking citizen to link the documents before filing for their IT
returns.
Aadhaar card is turning out to be a successful venture which is
helping the government in tracking down fake account and Id holders while
keeping the track of the population’s actual income. By linking aadhaar card
with documents like PAN Card, Bank Accounts, and IT Returns citizens are
providing their financial details to the government which will help in tracking
down any black money available in the market.
