As most of you already know that the Supreme Court has made it mandatory for all Indian citizens to link their aadhar card number with their mobile number. Looking at the fear and confusion in the eyes of citizens the court has also pleaded with the government to stay calm and register a copy of their aadhaar at their local network customer care center to avoid any confusion.

If you still find it too much work to visit your network store, then the government has launched a perfect alternative for you. Starting 1st December, the user will be able to link their aadhar card with their mobile number using an OTP code. This idea has been approved by UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) which is definitely going to encourage more users to link their aadhaar card with their mobile.
Note that users will only able to use this benefit if they have registered their contact information with their aadhaar number. The center has already made it clear those users whose number is not linked with their mobile before 6th February won’t be able to use their number as they will be officially deactivated.
