Internet Company’s make Aadhaar Compulsory for users to use their Services

Internet companies have now made Aadhaar card compulsory for all customers if they wish to avail any of their services.
Companies like Amazon have asked customers to upload or link their Aadhaar numbers with their accounts in order to track their lost packages. Amazon also added that it will be a great idea for their operators to authenticate customer identity.
Now, internet companies are planning on making it compulsory for the users to link their Aadhaar —which is a 12-digit unique number given to each individual in India to verify their identity—in order to avail or use their services. Amazon became the first e-commerce that came forward and asked the users to link their aadhaar number to their accounts. This could possibly help in tracking lost packages and user address in a much more easier way.
