Aadhaar Card helped in tracking over 500 missing Children

Recently, Aadhar card proved that why it is essential, and how it can help in identifying the Indian citizens in times of requirement.

More than 500 missing children were found and traced in the last few months with the help of Aadhaar, according to Ajay Bhushan Pandey, who is the CEO of (UIDAI), Unique Identification Authority of India. He proudly showcased these numbers, telling the public, about the importance of getting an aadhar card.

He shared revealed these numbers during (GCCS) Global Conference on Cyberspace which was held recently.

Explaining this, he also shared how a child was found in who was living in an orphanage, when he underwent the Aadhar enrolment procedure and the official found that he/she already had their 12-digit biometric identifier. This helped the concerned officials in reuniting the kid with his parents. There have been several other instances were aadhar has proved to be very useful, in identifying the users.
