Aadhaar Mandatory to be linked with post office deposits, PPF, and KVP

After making it mandatory for Indian citizens to link their aadhaar card, with PAN card and bank account, now the government has passed new laws to link aadhaar card with all PPF, National Savings Certificate Schemes, post office deposits and Kisan Vikas Pakas.
The government has given a deadline until 31st December 2017 to all the existing depositors to provide and link their 12 digits aadhaar unique identification number with the above-mentioned documents and schemes.

The Government has issued four gazette notifications, making it mandatory for aadhaar users to link their aadhaar with their existing or while opening any post office account, National Savings Certificate Scheme, Kisan Vikas Patra Deposits, and PPF (Public Provident Fund).
Users, who don’t have their aadhaar number, need to deposit a valid proof of their application or enrolment with the aadhaar card.
