Download Aadhaar Card through Enrollment ID
As it has been mentioned already in the article How to
Download Aadhaar Card and Why? There are two different ways in which you can
download your Aadhaar, i.e. the E – Aadhaar. One of them is downloading through
Enrollment ID. This is the method we will be discussing in this article. It cannot
be said as to which is easier or quicker method of downloading the e- Aadhaar,
but it is important for you to be aware of both the methods, and how to apply
them. There is almost no difference between these methods, and can be
considered similar to a great extent. We will begin by describing the the
process of downloading e Aadhaar through Enrollment number
Follow
these steps to download e Aadhaar with the help of your enrollment ID on the
acknowledgement slip.

Step 1 - The
first thing you need to do is, visit the official UIDAI website. Once
you are on this website, click on Download Aadhaar.
Step 2 - After
you click on the download Aadhaar option, you will come across a window with
certain fields, demanding information. And on the top, you will see an option
of Enrollment ID or Aadhaar Number. On the basis of whatever number you have,
you will select the option.
Step 3 - Keep in
mind, both the options work on the basis OTP, so keep your mobile handy when
attempting to download the eAadhaar.
Step 4 - Once you
have selected either of the preferred option, you will have to start filling
the details that have been asked.
Step 5 - The
first field you will come across is the one that will require you to enter you
Aadhaar number or Enrollment ID ( Enrollment number). There is a blue colored question mark right
next to the first two fields, by clicking on these; you will get to know what these
fields for are, and what instructions you should follow while filling them.

Step 6 - The next
field is of your name; here you should enter the name you entered in the
enrollment form.
Step 7 - After
you have entered your name, you will have to enter your Pin code, which will be
followed by an image field.
Step 8 - After
the pin code, the next field you come across will require you to enter the text
that has been given in the image. It will thus require you to identify what is
contained in the image. Be clear with the case you use while filling this
field.
Step 9 - If the
text you entered is correct, you can proceed towards entering your mobile
number, this will be used for sending you the OTP, and so make sure you enter a
valid mobile number.
Step 10 - In the
last step you will have to enter the OTP you have received and then click on
‘Validate and Download’. Your e- Aadhaar card will now be downloaded.
Note: The
downloaded document will be a PDF, protected with password. The password will
be your pin code. And PDF will not open if you do not have Adobe reader in your
system.
