In order to check your linked bank account with an Aadhaar card, you just need to visit the official Aadhaar website. Aadhaar has recently unveiled this benefit, where users can easily check their bank accounts through their Aadhaar number, which is registered with the bank. You can avail multiple government services by linking your bank account with your Aadhaar number. It has also helped bankers, as it is easier to introduce new users to the bank, where Aadhaar is proof enough of their citizenship in the country.

Checking the Linking Status through Aadhaar Number
There are two methods by which you can check the whether or not your bank account is linked to your Aadhaar number: Online and Mobile dial up.

1. Online Method
Step #1 – First click here, to get directed on the link to check you bank and Aadhaar status of the official Aadhaar website.
Step #2 – Enter your Aadhaar number, on the space provided with the displayed security code. Now click verify button, placed on the bottom of the screen.
Step #3 – A web page will appear where you will be able see the linked status of your bank with your Aadhaar card number.

2. Mobile Mobile Dial Up
Aadhaar also offers a dial number as an alternative portal, which can be used to check the bank’s linked status by simply using your Aadhaar number.
Step #1 – You can check the status by simply dialing *99*99*# on you mobile phone.
Step #2 – This opens a page, which will demand you to enter the 12 digits of your Aadhaar Number. After entering the digits, press enter.
Step #3 – Now your will be asked to ‘Confirm Aadhaar number’, by pressing 1 to confirm and then press send.
Step #4 – This is the final step, which will display the current status of of bank linking, depending on the accuracy of your Aadhaar number.
